This was such a wonderful treat to be on the Chef’s Social Club list. Executive Chef Ashfer Biju’s 14 course tasting menu was just a delight to try. I have to say after one night of dinner at the 2 E Bar / Lounge, I am hooked. This is definitely a place to try for foodies.
As soon as I walk in, I felt welcomed. Their service was immaculate. Now, everyone knows that there are three important components for an amazing experience at a restaurant, they are: 1) Food 2) Service and 3) Environment, in that order. 2 E Bar / Lounge have met all three and have gone beyond. The food was delicious. A couple of the dishes were more of personal preference/taste, but it is still good to try. For example, some of the dishes had curry in it. I hated curry but because Chef Biju said that he made curry in differently, I decided to taste it anyway. Low and behold, it is delicious! This goes to show it’s not the food but how the food is prepared then cooked. They are also very accommodating; for example, I do not enjoy gamey tasting meats. They had a Lamb dish on the menu and immediately changed it for me to beef. So the food is great, I highly recommend for everyone to try The Chef’s Social Club. Their service was amazing, everyone was super nice and super accommodating. The environment was laid back, mellow and dark. Best of all, at the end of the night, you get to take a gift box home! My gift box contained a can of personally mixed tea and a home-made jam by Executive Pastry Chef Michael Mignano. Below are some pictures I’ve taken during dinner. I will add the menu later on.
