The first thing I noticed when I arrive was the beautiful decor and waiting area. I loved the cozy sofa and the dim light. It had a very romantic feeling to it. The decor for the rest of the restaurant was very beautiful as well. It would be a great place for a date night.
The service was great. The waitress was very helpful and always made sure our water glass was filled. Came up to us a few times to ask if everything was ok and if I needed anything else. She went the extra mile to make sure our napkins was folded into a lotus flower when it came to dessert. Very cute! No complaints on the service at all!
The first dish we were served was the Seafood Combo. It was very beautifully presented and each piece felt like a surprise. All was delicious, however, my favorite was the white dumpling piece with shrimp on the inside dipped in the brown sauce (sweet soy sauce). The other piece next to it that looked like a fried dumpling had cream cheese in it with crab meat. It was nice and creamy. yummmm!!!!! I would say this dish is a must order when you go to this place.
Dish #2: Roti with Massaman Curry, I love Roti, then dipping it into a sweet curry sauce?! OMG, it was delicious!!! Again, this is a must order dish!!!!
Dish #3 and #4: Honey Duck and Thai Shrimp and garlic. Both dishes were good, however, out of the two, my favorite would be Thai Shrimp garlic only because I love shrimp!
The Honey Duck was very good. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. This is exactly how a duck should be cooked. Especially when frying duck is hard to keep the inside of the duck moist.
The Thai Shrimp and garlic came with this delicious sweet sauce and eating that with the rice just made the combination that much better.
So if you like poultry, The Honey Duck is the way to go and if you like seafood, the Thai Shrimp Garlic is the way to go. You can’t really go wrong with either, but make sure you get a bowl of rice with either of the dishes because it is so good with rice!
Dish #5 and #6: Fried Banana and Fried Ice Cream. Need I say more? My friend and I cleaned the plate. If we were at home, we’d be licking the plate clean. My favorite part is the fried part of the ice cream. 😎
Check out their decor! Very beautiful and has a calm effect.
