I am so sorry for not posting for awhile… I’ve been lazy. However, I just got a new batch of products that I will review. First, I will review The Ordinary – Coverage Foundation. I am always on the lookout for a good foundation that covers well. I’ve tried from MAC foundations (I stopped using MAC makeup because they are not cruelty free), to Charlotte Tilbury (love), to Kat Von D’s foundation. Some have worked but I just am not satisfied with them. Now, this foundation, is good but for me, doesn’t cover everything. It still doesn’t cover my dark circles. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a foundation that covers everything for me. So I always have to use a good cover up. With that said, I do love The Ordinary foundation’s lightness. With the amount it covers and how light it is, and how cheap it is, I will definitely be using this product for awhile. As I said, it doesn’t cover my dark circles, but it does cover my lighter areas where a pimple used to be so it does cover, just not my dark circles. I am convinced that there isn’t a foundation out there that would do that, but still hunting for it and willing to test.
The colours are wonderful. They have a variety of colours for all skin tones. I am a 2.1Y and it matches my skin perfectly. I also tried the 2.0YG (yellow undertone with gold highlights) but that was too light for me. I would have loved to have some gold highlights to my colour but they don’t make it. So in conclusion, I like this foundation and I am now using it as part of my daily routine. In the event I am going somewhere special, then I will use a cover up to put on my dark circles, and boom, my skin looks flawless!
Stay tuned for more reviews on the other products of The Ordrinary products which is a group under the name of Deciem. So exciting!!
