This was a suggestion by my cab driver when I just arrived at Nice. He drove me to my hotel and on the way, he played the tour guide. He suggested Le Bistro D’Antoine and boy was I happy I listened to him. First, this place is also another one that is hard to make a reservation. I was lucky that they had a spot for me. It kind of reminds me of Les Papilles in Paris, with the difference that Antoine had a menu and Les Papilles did not. They were super friendly. When I got there, it wasn’t that packed, but when I was leaving, it was fully packed. I’ve also seen them turn people away and guiding them to their other restaurant which is a few blocks away. They are located on Rue de la Prefecture which is a block that is all restaurants. What I love about restaurants in Nice is that, almost all have outside seating. Their food is well prepared to the perfect portion. Typically, when I go to a restaurant when I travel, I always get the prix fixe menu, this isn’t any different. The sad part of this is, I may have lost part of my travel pictures this time around and pictures of this restaurant was one of them. I only have 3 pictures to show, but with or without pictures, I highly recommend this place. It is small, but fun with outside seating. It is true frenc
h cuisine so if you want french food, this is a must.
